Tasting - Stickybeak Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

Name: Stickybeak Semillon Sauvignon Blanc
Variety: 100% Sauvignon Blanc
Region: Sonoma County, California
Country: United States
Year: 2009
Price: $14.00

Winery Review: White peach, freshly cut grass and citrus, with spicy, smoky flint notes beneath. The palate opens with an engaging freshness yet also shows a generous mouthfeel beneath. Long, deep and quite succulent, the characters of pie baked stone fruit and mayer lemon continue through to the clean finish.

My Review: This wine opened with a very sweet and fruity nose. I did not get any of the smoky or spicy smells or tastes. This wine was very light and sweet with no acidity at the finish. Overall, it was not a bad wine.

I did not have this wine with food.
